I am Jose Avelino (Dong), second child
of Severino and Cecilia. I was born on June 19, 1946 in Pulilan, Bulacan. I graduated from UP (Diliman) with a BS Mechanical
Engineering degree in 1967. For my postgraduate work, I obtained a Masters degree in Business Management from the Asian
Institute of Management in 1972.
I am married to ANA MARIE AGUSTIN of Malolos
City. We were married in 1972. We have three wonderful children, namely:
JOEL AVELINO
(born on July 3, 1973). He's married to Joy (Phoebe Joyce Favila from Solano,
Nueva Vizcaya). Joel is a call center agent while Joy is a registered nurse now based in California. They have one
child, Jaimie who will be entering 5th grade at the Sacred Heart Academy in Novaliches,
Quezon City.
JOEY KARL
(born on November 21, 1974). He's married to Janjan (Janice Gabaca from
Cebu City). Joey graduated from Centro Escolar University with a degree in BS in Management. He is the administrator
of the property he and his siblings inherited from their maternal grandfather. Joey and Janjan have one child, Terrence
John or TJ who will enter grade two at the Holy Infant School in Malolos this June.
JOAN KATHY MARCELLE (born on November 13, 1981). She is married to Paul
(Paul S. Baluyut from Quezon City). Kaye owns a top grossing Lotto outlet located
in Malolos City while Paul is a seaman now working on board a cargo vessel plying the China to Australia route. They
were blessed with a son, Joaquin Paolo, now one yearr and four months old.
I am a full time grandfather to Jaimie, TJ and now Joaquin Paolo

Meet JAIMIE ANNE FRANCESCA.
Born on May 23, 1999. Jaimie is the marunong type - an outstanding pupil. She's
very good in computer too. She likes: drawing, constructing complicated lego pieces, playing, reading books, and of course
eating.
Meet TERRENCE JOHN.
Born on June 12, 2002. He's a healthy boy and big for his age. Medyo hyper
active, malikot at pilyo itong apo naming ito. Nung graduation sa Nursery, he was awarded the "most active medal" (yun pala
ay dahil sa pinaka malikot siya sa klase). Dun naman sa Kinder class graduation nila, siya yung "most generous" pupil
(dahil sa galante siya sa pag blowout ng frostee sa kanyang schoolmates tuwing recess).
Meet JOAQUIN PAOLO
Born on February 15, 2009. Maliit siya nung ipinanganak, pero ngayon matabang mataba na siya. Malakas siya. At
one week old, kaya na niyang i-lift at ibaling yung head niya pag siya ay idina-dapa. Nakikipag kwentuhan na siya
at this stage.

Our German connection
Meet Lydia and Hans and of course Caloy.
Lydia came to live with us way back in 1980. She stayed on with us caring for Kaye throughout her growing
years. When Kaye was in her teens, Lydia left to work overseas; first in Singapore and then in Quatar. A cousin
who lives in Germany introduced her to Hans. After they got married, Lydia moved to her new home in Germany.
Caloy was born in 1992 in Pulilan. He grew up with us from birth up to age 12. Thence,
he joined his Mom Lydia and Dad Hans in Germany.
Caloy has now grown to be a big boy. He is now 18 years old and actively participates in many school
and church activities. He plays the guitar well and is a member of a band.
